The Fulbright Commission offers information sessions, open to the public at large, where topics related to the educational system in the U.S., application procedures to American universities and the Fulbright scholarship programs are covered. After the presentation, if time allows it, a general Q&A session is conducted.
The information sessions are held at the facilities of the Fulbright Commission in Quito (address below) every wednesday at 5pm. Attendance to this information session is the basic requirement for a student who wants to pursue an academic program in the US to be able to request a personalized advising session.
It is not necessary to reserve a spot or pre-register in order to attend the sessions; however, we strongly encourage people to arrive at least 10 minutes before the session begins so they can fill out the personal information cards and be seated in the meeting room.
Additionally, we can hold information sessions at the facilities of any educational institution in the country about topics of general academic interest for their student body and faculty.
These services are free of charge.
